Meeting Notes for 16 December

Drupal

• Ken has directed Xenomedia to the Masterclass Library page (https://quarknet.i2u2.org/group/masterclass-library) and the How-To group (https://quarknet.i2u2.org/group/how-create-groups) as examples of how the website is used. He and Marge followed up with emails explaining our requirements for the site in more detail.
• Xenomedia will move the site from Argonne to Rackspace as a temporary measure until they are able to advise us about upgrading it.

Help Desk

Joel has started work converting BOINC's PHP HelpDeskRequest code into JSP. He reports no particular problems, and the teleconference has no particular input.

e-Labs

• Ken would like to export e-Lab data as .csv for use with Logger Pro. He will submit this as a bug report: enhancement for the developers.
• Bob reports that deleting cosmic data causes some sort of problem with the geometry. Edit is aware of it.

New Server Testing

Now that i2u2-dev is active, it needs comprehensive testing.

• Ken will test CIMA and (with Tom) the CMS event display and other e-Lab functions
• The Cosmic Fellows will test the Cosmic Ray e-Lab, but may not be able to be exhaustive, especially given the holiday
• Liz will email Dale with LIGO to get his help testing that e-Lab.
