Meeting Notes for 18 January

Present: Liz, Joel, Sudha, Marge

Drupal

• Liz having some problems accessing the Basecamp materials. She's working on it with Kevin.
• Sudha's working with Jim Birch to get a development VM going

Cosmic Ray

• Sudha's updates to the instructional material mostly involved the tutorials; seeking feedback
• Joel needs input from Mark before moving the Shower Analysis Δt feature to production
• Sudha and Mark are still working on maybe changing the (lengthy) analysis used in the Lifetime tutorial.

CIMA

CIMA particle selection improvements should be complete by the end of the week. Joel wants to double-check with Ken (on travel) about the Z mass entry feature.

Swift/E

QuarkNet will collaborate with Mike Wilde's new Swift/E program. For the next ~year, this will consist of integrating improved Swift code into the Cosmic Ray e-Lab, possibly culminating in an improved user interface and additional data-oriented physics tasks within two years.

Server repair

Still waiting on replacement parts to arrive.
