Meeting Notes for 21 September

CMS

Tom reports improvements in the correlated histograms function have been deployed to i2u2-dev. He still wants to work on improving quality of printed images.

CIMA

Joel, Ken and Tom have no significant updates on CIMA improvements

Cosmic

Sudha has a new step-by-step up on i2u2-dev. She encourages feedback.

Development

• Sudha's laptop is giving errors related to Geometry.java and perhaps inability to write to i2u2-data.
• Sudha installed Eclipse on the laptop and is down to seven errors.
• Joel has problems with VDSCatalogProvider, in particular the getUniqueCategoryCount() method of subclass VDSDataCatalogProvider. Mihael may be able to help.

LIGO

• Joel still can't read stream files. Edit may be able to help.
• Ken, Shane and Amber discussed pitching the e-Lab more consciously to earth science and geology teachers.

Raspberry Pi

Ken got a cheap ($40) HDMI display working with his Raspberry Pi. For teachers who have only VGA displays, this might be a good option to offer with the RPi kits.
